Women's Hockey: There was another defeat for the Irish team at the four nations tournament in Rosario, but there was hardly any shame in losing 2-0 to world champions Argentina on their own patch, both of their goals coming from short corners, the second on the final hooter.

With an eye to the tournament final against Germany, Argentina had given some of their reserves a run-out, but they were frustrated by a disciplined defensive display by Ireland.

The hosts finally found a way through the Irish defence two minutes before half-time, when Magdalena Aicega's corner strike was deflected past Angela Platt.

But they had to wait until the 70th minute to get their second when Carla Rebecchi was first to the rebound from her team's sixth corner of the game.
