Women's Rugby:Ireland are still looking for their first win of the Six Nations Championship with two second-half tries securing a 13-10 victory for the French at Templeville Road on Saturday.
After their narrow defeat to Wales in their opening fixture last weekend, Ireland went in front just short of the quarter hour mark when a break from midway saw Jeannette Feighery take a pass off Lynne Cantwell before sprinting unchallenged to the line.
At the other end Christelle Le Duff landed a penalty to leave it 5-3 at the interval. And with 66 minutes gone, from a maul off a lineout, replacement forward Mélanie Gauffinet went over.
Ireland's response was magnificent with a three player move culminating in a try for Fiona Coghlan in the next attack of the game.
But with five minutes remaining, Le Duff claimed the match-winning score.
