The Irish Amateur Boxing Association has confirmed two squads – and one box-off – for the Elite Tammer Multi-Nations in Tampere, Finland and the 2012 AIBA World Youth Championships in Yerevan, Armenia.

Olympic silver medallist Ken Egan and European bronze medallists John Joe Joyce and Ross Hickey and EU champions David Oliver Joyce and Con Sheehan, Willie McLaughlin, Conrad Cummings and Michael Nevin are in an eight-man squad in Finland.

Meanwhile, six of the seven-strong panel for the AIBA World Youth Championships, which begin in Armenia on November 25th, have been confirmed. Keith Flavin, Kurt Walker, Chris Nevin, Hughie Nevin, David Roche and Stephen Mulholland will represent Ireland. George Boylan and JJ McDonagh meet on Friday week at the National Stadium for the light-heavyweight vest for Armenia.
