It was a good weekend for two Irish players in England, both of whom made an impression in their European matches. International centre Kevin Maggs scored a superb individual try, running 50 metres for the touchdown against Toulouse at the Recreation Ground, Bath. Unfortunately for the home side they finished on the wrong end of a 32-25 scoreline. Another Irish standout was under-21 scrum-half Kieron Campbell, now playing on the wing for London Irish. He scored a try in his side's 37-21 defeat of Brive in the European Shield.
