FOUR NATIONS TOURNAMENT: Brian Kerr's under-20 team beat host nation, the United Arab Emirates, 3-2 in the four-nation tournament in Abu Dhabi yesterday.

Bray Wanderers striker Eamonn Zayed scored twice after the home side had taken the lead after four minutes with a goal from Mohammed. Zayed struck after 13 minutes to equalise and scored the winner in the 66th minute.

The UAE led for the second time when Hammed scored in 53rd minute but, just three minutes later, John Fitzgerald equalised.

The Republic, beaten by Korea on Monday, play France in their final game on Friday.
