RACING:THERE WILL be an interesting Irish link to tomorrow's Group Three feature at Longchamp where the ex-Jessica Harrington-trained Dragon Pulse tackles the top European two-year-old of 2011, Dabirsim.

Dragon Pulse won the Futurity at the Curragh last year before finishing runner-up to Power in the National Stakes. After that he was transferred to French trainer Mikel Delzangles by owner Kai Chah Tan and Dragon Pulse reappears in the Prix de Fontainebleau over a mile tomorrow.

Dabirsim, winner of the Morny and the Lagadere last year, has his own first start of the season and will be ridden for the first time by top Belgian jockey Christophe Soumillon.

The home action today is at Tramore and although Willie Mullins’s focus will be on his Aintree Grand National team, he could keep the home fires burning with the course bumper winner Passage Vendome.
