He was one of nine Irish players amongst the goals in Saturday's English and Scottish matches - the others being Lee Carsley (Blackburn), Alan McLoughlin (Portsmouth), Mark Kinsella (Charlton), Brian Carey (Wrexham), Sean Devine (Wycombe), Kieron Durkan (Macclesfield), Owen Coyle (two for Dunfermline) and Tommy Coyne (Falkirk) - but we're giving our player of the week award to Luton Town's Liam George.

The 20-year-old, who scored the winning penalty in the shoot-out at the end of the under-18 European Championships final against Germany last year, is making an impressive comeback from a serious injury that ruled him out for most of last season and his two goals in a 4-2 win over Oxford on Saturday (he now has five in eight starts) helped lift his team to third in division two.
