There were goals galore for the Irish in Britain over the weekend - Robbie Keane (Wolves) and Kevin Kilbane (WBA) scored for their respective first division clubs; Liam George (Luton), Kevin Nugent (Cardiff) and Sean Devine (Wycombe) were on target in division two and Stephen Murphy helped Halifax to a 2-0 win at Hartlepool in division three.

In Scotland Owen Coyle scored both Dunfermline's goals in a 2-2 draw at Airdrie while former Irish under-21 forward Jerry O'Driscoll got a hat trick for Montrose against Dumbarton in division three.

Dominic Foley, though, gets our Player of the Week award after making a Premiership debut to remember in Watford's 1-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield - the former Cork hurler was signed by Graham Taylor from Wolves during the summer, after a loan spell with Howard Kendall's Ethnikos in Greece last season.
