Ireland Captain Des Dillon powered his side into Thursday's semi-finals of the IRB/FIRA Junior World Championships with a convincing victory over Italy at Dunvant in Wales.
Dillon snapped up two of the three Irish tries as they followed up their opening-round romp against Georgia with a fine display.
Out-half Jeremy Staunton accounted for the rest of Ireland's points with a try, all three conversions and a penalty goal. Italy scored two tries through Andrea Masi and Carlo Festuccia.
