Australia coach Eddie Jones was far from impressed with his team's victory over Scotland yesterday in their first match since the World Cup final.
The Wallabies scored three late tries to run out comfortable winners, but Jones said he was concerned about certain aspects of their game.
The lineouts and scrums, which troubled Australia during the World Cup, were again exposed by the Scots, while the Wallabies struggled with their kicking and running game.
"We've still got a lot of work to do, especially on our set piece," Jones said. "We didn't kick with any precision or tactical nous . . . but we'll work on that as well."
Australia threatened to run away with the match after opening up a 13-0 lead inside 16 minutes, but were unable to pull away until late in the second half.
They eventually scored four unanswered tries, with Lote Tuqiri crossing twice and Matt Giteau and Wendell Sailor once each. Joe Roff kicked five goals and Matthew Burke one.
Scotland's points all came from the boot of outhalf Dan Parks, who landed five penalties.
Stuart Grimes was cited after the match for stamping on Wallaby number eight David Lyons.
The teams meet in the final Test in Sydney next Saturday.
