Home Farm/Everton's fight against having to apply for re-election goes down to the last match of the season after they wasted a host of scoring chances before losing to a late goal at Kilkenny City on Saturday night.

Local youngster Brian Jordan secured fourth place for Kilkenny when after 79 minutes he scored the only goal at Buckley Park. Eric Smith also left it late to give Limerick FC the three points away to Monaghan United in their mid-table non-event at Gortakeegan.
