The Galway senior football championship semi-final at Tuam Stadium yesterday was even more one-sided than the scoreline suggests as Killererin with great ease qualified for next Sunday's final against Annaghdown at the same venue.

County stars Tommie and Padraic Joyce and their 19-year-old first cousin Nicholas Joyce were the stars for the winners, who led at half-time by 0-6 to 0-4. A goal and a point by Nicholas Joyce in the 11th and 12th minutes of the second half ended the game as a contest.
