Jason Kabia's second-half goal handed Cobh Ramblers victory at Gannon Park yesterday, despite Malahide's dominance for much of the game.

As early as the 11th minute, Ramblers were in trouble when Robert Flanagan found an opening inside the box, but his finishing let him down.

With the aid of a strong breeze, Cobh countered in the second half.

Their goal came in the 64th minute when player-coach David Hill sent over a cross from the right and Kabia rose to head the ball home.
