Alex Ferguson has pencilled Roy Keane in for a Champions League comeback against Bayer Leverkusen at Old Trafford on November 13th.

"Roy is coming along great in his fitness," Ferguson told the Manchester Evening News yesterday. "There is a possibility that we could ease him back against Bayer Leverkusen at Old Trafford. If we have qualified for the second group stage by that match, then it would be a nice way of easing him back into things."

Keane is due to meet with United officials today to decide his next course of action, having been given until October 29th to decide whether he will appeal the English FA's fine of £150,000 and five-match ban. It is believed Keane will accept the fine and ban.

Meanwhile, Damien Duff is doubtful for Blackburn's home tie against Newcastle this weekend. The Ewood Park medical staff were yesterday evaluating the extent of Duff's hamstring strain, suffered at Lansdowne Road on Wednesday night.
