MUNSTER IHC SEMI-FINAL: Waterford 5-15 Limerick 0-7: WATERFORD CRUSHED last year's winners Limerick by 23 points in Thurles yesterday to book their place in the Munster intermediate final.

Pa Kearney was the scoring hero with 3-1 for Waterford against a Limerick outfit held to just one point from play during the game, supplied by midfielder Nicky Quaid after two minutes. Goals from Patrick Hurney and Kearney helped Waterford to a 2-7 to 0-4 half-time lead.

Kearney added two more goals after half-time before brother Jamie completed the rout nine minutes from time.
