Finn Harps ... 0 Dundalk ... 2: James Keddy was the Cup hero for Dundalk as the Premier Division strugglers scored an impressive replay victory in Ballybofey last night.
The Dundalk midfielder scored twice, once in each half, to set up a mouthwatering home clash with Shamrock Rovers in the semi-final.
The deadlock was broken just before the interval when Keddy unleashed an unstoppable effort which flew into the top corner from 25 yards. His second came on 74 minutes when he pounced on a sloppy piece of Harps defending to fire home from close range.
Harps, for all their possession, created little in the way of chances. Their best opportunity came on the hour mark but Kevin McHugh shot just over from a good position.
