SARAH KELLEHER returns to the Irish women's hockey squad for the two friendly matches in Edinburgh next week after missing the recent internationals against Italy because of business commitments. The Muckross player replaces Tamara Stronge in an otherwise unchanged squad that will take on France and Scotland on Saturday and Sunday week.

Meanwhile it has been announced that Muckross, holders of the Irish League title, will host the B Division of the 1997 European Club Championships in Belfield from May 16th-19th. Slavia Prague and teams from the Ukraine and Finland will be in Muckross's pool, while sides from Austria, Belarus, Slovakia and Italy will make up the other group.

In the A division of the European Cup Winners Cup, Pegasus will be going to Kampong (Holland) from March 28th-31st and are grouped with Ipswich, Amiens (France) and Russia's representatives. The host club are in the other pool along with Terrassa (Spain), Edinburgh Ladies and the German Cup winners.
