Damaen Kelly will defend at least his Commonwealth flyweight title on May 22nd at the Ulster Hall in Belfast.
Ulsterman Kelly, who recently won the vacant British title in only his ninth fight with a comprehensive points win over Birmingham's Anthony Hanna, has virtually run out of competition in Britain.
Nottingham's Jason Booth is a possible future opponent but he will shortly challenge for the European title so Kelly will probably face an opponent from the Commonwealth.
Kelly's coach Michael Hawkins said: "We hope that an opponent will be named shortly. In Britain there is really nobody around to challenge Damaen.
"Booth would have been a great opponent but apart from him there's nobody else.
"Damaen has risen to the top very quickly but he has still only had nine fights and cannot be rushed.
"He knows there is still a lot to learn even though he's boxing at a high level. Certainly he'll be looking to fight for the European title before the end of the year."
