GAA president Seán Kelly has expressed his regret at not being able to attend the funeral of Northern Ireland soccer legend George Best in Belfast tomorrow.
Kelly raised the subject at Stormont Castle, where the funeral is to take place, earlier in the week when attending a reception for the All-Ireland winning Tyrone and Down minor teams.
"I inquired about it and was extended a VIP invitation, but I had thought that it was taking place on Saturday afternoon rather than the morning.
"Unfortunately I have two engagements in the morning. First I'm opening the National Coaching Conference at DCU, and then I'm giving an address at the College of Surgeons."
