Thurles CBS 1-13 Nenagh CBS 0-16:SÉAMUS KENNEDY kept Thurles in the Dr Harty Cup with an equalising point in the 10th minute of stoppage time in a gripping quarter-final at Dolla yesterday.

Thurles looked dead and buried at the end of 60 minutes as Nenagh led 0-16 to 1-11 but they struck 1-2 before the final whistle.

Kevin Slattery’s goal in the fourth minute of stoppage time sparked the fightback before Conor Lanigan (free) and 2011 All-Ireland MFC medallist Kennedy added points to ensure a replay next week. Nenagh, inspired by Jason Forde, who scored 0-9, led by 0-9 to 0-7 at half-time.
