Camogie: A point four minutes into injury time from Brenda Kerins allowed Galway maintain their interest in this year's Gala All-Ireland championship series by drawing, 1-7 to 0-10, with the reigning All-Ireland champions, Cork, in Ballincollig.
Cork were first to score, with quick points from Úna O'Donoghue and Jennifer O'Leary (who would post 0-7 in total), but Kerins replied with Galway's two opening points.
With eight minutes of the first half remaining and Galway leading 0-3 to 0-2, Galway's Lourda Kavanagh caught a long sliotar breaking from midfield and smashed it to the net for the only goal of the day.
Galway led 1-4 to 0-3 at the break.
Cork coach Fióna O'Driscoll must have used strong words in the interval because Cork hit a purple patch on the restart, defenders Caitríona Foley and Anna Geary repelling attacks and Amanda O'Regan and Jennifer O'Leary contributing important points.
The champions were ahead, 0-10 to 1-6, with time almost up.
But Galway were not finished and Kerins's late point levelled the score.
Cork are already assured of a place in next month's semi-finals.
