Weight: 13 st.

Pole position for this year's All Star. His shot-stopping in the semi-final matches against Armagh was crucial to Kerry's success. His kick-outs have always been a feature and can be used tomorrow to pressurise Galway's wing backs.

2. Mike Hassett

Club: Laune Rangers.

Age: 26.

Height: 6 ft.

Weight: 12 st.

Played well in the replay against Armagh, bringing a sense of composure to the line. Has, however, been under pressure at times and particularly in the Cork match against a rampant Colin Corkery.

3. Seamus Moynihan

Club: Glenflesk.

Age: 26.

Height: 5 ft 11 in.

Weight: 13 st.

In the shake-up for Player of the Year. Moynihan has adapted to the demands of the full-back position. Shadowing, blocking and tackling have been superb but positioning has sometimes been questionable and can be vulnerable in the air.

4. Michael McCarthy

Club: Kilcummin.

Age: 21.

Height: 6 ft.

Weight: 12 st.

One of the great successes of the season, McCarthy has delivered on a distinguished underage pedigree. Has quietly put the wraps on a succession of big-name corner forwards. Major test with Derek Savage in such good form.

5. Tomas O Se

Club: An Ghaeltacht.

Age: 22.

Height: 5 ft 11 in.

Weight: 12 st.

Has developed in recent matches and played well in semi-finals. Greater confidence going forward and more control in his immediate area. Still has problem common to the whole line in that ball-winning ability under pressure is suspect.

6. Eamonn Fitzmaurice

Club: Finuge.

Age: 24.

Height: 6 ft 1 in.

Weight: 13 st.

Came on a ton against Armagh in the second half of the replay. Fitzmaurice was the influential player of UCC's successful club campaign. Defensively capable, but has lacked presence.

7. Tom O'Sullivan

Club: Rathmore.

Age: 21.

Height: 6 ft 2 in.

Weight: 13 st.

The most stressed of the Kerry defence over the two Armagh matches to the extent that his place was in question. Has struggled in all Kerry's big matches. Loses concentration a bit too easily and will find Clancy a daunting task.

8. Darragh O Se

Club: An Ghaeltacht.

Age: 25.

Height: 6 ft 2 in.

Weight: 14 st.

Throughout his career he has mixed the brilliant with the anonymous. Ran the show against Cork in the first half and Armagh in the second half of the replay but wasn't mapped for the rest of it. Much depends on his humour.

9. Donal Daly

Club: Firies.

Age: 25.

Height: 6 ft 2 in.

Weight: 14 st.

Has been underrated for most of his career. Mobile and energetic, he lacks physical presence and as a result his work can go unnoticed. Also has an occasional tendency to fade that reflects the inconsistency of the sector.

10. Aodhan MacGearailt

Club: An Ghaeltacht.

Age: 22.

Height: 6 ft 1 in.

Weight: 13 st.

Although he may switch with Liam Hassett, MacGearailt's best displays this season have come on the half-forward line. Was anonymous against Ger Reid in the first half of the replay, but played well after being re-introduced on the wing.

11. Dara O Cinneide

Club: An Ghaeltacht.

Age: 25.

Height: 5 ft 10 in.

Weight: 13 st.

Although he rolled up his sleeves on the 40 in the Armagh replay, his best moments have come at full forward. Penalty taking has been very impressive with three out of three, but free-kicking is often erratic. Prone to inconsistency.

12. Noel Kennelly

Club: Listowel Emmets.

Age: 20.

Height: 6 ft 2 in.

Weight: 13 st.

His debut season hasn't really taken off. Intelligent use of ball not utilised on the wing where he is somewhat marginalised. The long-range shooting speciality hasn't been much in evidence and his place was thought to be in jeopardy.

13. Michael F Russell

Club: Laune Rangers.

Age: 22.

Height: 5 ft 11 in.

Weight: 11 st.

Has copperfastened his status as a wunderkind come to maturity. Phenomenal scoring ability. First goal against Armagh was a textbook finish. Has proved himself imperturbable against attritional marking.

14. Liam Hassett

Club: Laune Rangers.

Age: 25.

Height: 6 ft 2 in.

Weight: 13 st.

Started the year in great form but faded during the championship until shining the last day after being introduced from the bench. Doubt surrounds whether he'll start at full forward, but Fahey isn't comfortable with big full forwards.

15. John Crowley

Club: Glenflesk.

Age: 25.

Height: 6 ft.

Weight: 13 st.

Has threatened more than he's actually produced in the big matches this season, but has tirelessly probed. When the full forwards are in full flight he looks dangerous, but his supply has suffered from problems further out.
