The Kingdom, who dictated in play in every area, were completely on top in the centre, where Darragh Ó Sé and Séamus Moynihan were never troubled by the various combinations tried against them. And when London managed to launch a few isolated attacks, they were met by an impregnable defence in which main honours went to full back Michael McCarthy and centre half Eamonn Fitzmaurice.
However, the record gate in excess of 2,000 should help soften the blow for the London GAA.
