Munster Under-21 FC Semi-final/ Kerry 4-17 Tipperary 2-5: Kerry swamped Tipperary in a disappointing Munster under-21 football semi-final at Kilmallock last night.
Tipperary's Patrick Hally opened the scoring, but by the end of the quarter they were behind 2-2 to 0-1 with Declan Quill and Éanna Kavanagh claiming Kerry's goals.
Pádraig Sheehan added to Tipperary's problems with a third goal in the 20th minute but just before half-time Brian Coen pulled a goal back for Tipperary.
Tipp had their hopes raised when Tony Doyle finished to the net to make it 3-8 to 2-2 but Kerry were not finished and had a fourth goal from Ross Donovan.With 15 minutes remaining Tipperary trailed 4-12 to 2-3 before Quill and DJ Fleming had the last say with a string of points.
