MEATH SHC FINAL: Kildalkey 1-21, Kilmessan 2-13:A FAR superior Kildalkey side claimed a second successive title at Navan's Páirc Tailteann with Kilmessan flattered by the five-point losing margin.
The defending champions had much the better of the first-half exchanges with a goal from Dan Fagan after 18 minutes earning them a seven-point lead at the break, 1-11 to 1-4. The losers’ second goal arrived in the last seconds with goalkeeper Christopher Curtis finding the net from a 65.
