Leinster JFC final: Kildare 0-9,   Dublin 0-8: Kildare put in a convincing second-half performance to claim their first Leinster JFC title in 15 years at Newbridge last evening.

Dublin dominated the exchanges at midfield and led by three points before Kildare opened their account. Dublin continued to dominate, however, and led by 0-6 to 0-2 at half-time.

Kildare's recovery started with two Tony Spain frees and although Graham Cullen steadied the visitors with a score Kildare levelled through Mark Fitzharris. Fitzharris gave them the lead and Spain secured the winner in additional time after Ben Kelly had equalised for Dublin.
