LEINSTER MHC SEMI-FINALS:Kilkenny 2-19 0-6 Westmeath
KIKENNY EASED into yet another provincial final with a facile 19-point win over a disappointing Westmeath side at Cusack Park, Mullingar last night.
The home side almost got the perfect start, but Patrick Laide's close-range effort was deflected for a 65, which Barry O'Meara duly pointed. However, this was the only time Westmeath led.
While Kilkenny only led by a Ger Aylward-goal at the break, 1-5 to 0-5, the second half was entirely one-way traffic.
