Killarney last night revived their hopes of qualifying for the end of season national championship by defeating the 1997 title winners Neptune by a surprisingly large margin, 90-67, in Kerry.
Neptune enjoyed the lead for a brief period at the end of the first quarter, but by half-time Killarney had moved into a comfortable 4434 lead, helped by a superb performance by Vincent Daly.
By the end of the third quarter Killarney had moved 13 points clear and they were never troubled again. Daly ending up as the highest scorer in the game on 24 points.
