Killoe Young Emmets 0-7 Longford Slashers 0-7:A POINT from a free converted by Seán McCormack in the second minute of stoppage time earned Killoe Young Emmets a deserved draw against title-holders Longford Slashers in the Longford senior football fnal at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park yesterday.

McCormack came to the rescue to land the equalising point and the sides will meet again in the final replay on Sunday next.

Slashers tried to launch a late attack and Stephen Phillips was on the ball with a decent chance of engineering a last-gasp winner but the final whistle sounded.
