Kilmacud Crokes, the 1995 All-Ireland club champions, booked their place in the Dublin final despite a lean second-half spell which saw them waiting 20 minutes to register a score.
They led 1-5 to 0-3 at the break with the key score coming four minutes before the interval when Ray Cosgrove found the net after being played in by Ian O'Sullivan.
