Michael Kinane will ride Rossini in Saturday's Prix Robert Papin, and trainer Aidan O'Brien has also outlined plans for his star two-year-olds Fasliyev and Bernstein.
The Coventry Stakes winner Fasliyev is being prepared for the Heinz 57 at Leopardstown on August 8th, while the current 2,000 Guineas favourite Bernstein is set to appear next in the Listed Tyros Stakes on August 14th.
Of Bernstein, O'Brien said: "He is a possible for the Tyros and we are thinking of going the same route with him as we did with King Of Kings."
Explaining how he won't have any runner at next week's Goodwood meeting, O'Brien added: "The Papin suits Rossini better in terms of timing for the Prix Morny and the Heinz."
The Ballydoyle trainer also confirmed that Saffron Waldon will run in tomorrow night's Group Three Meld Stakes in preparation for the Juddmonte International at York over 10 furlongs.
"I don't think anyone can say he didn't stay in the Derby, but 10 furlongs suits us now. We are thinking of York and, as he has had a break, he will improve for his race at the Curragh," said O'Brien, who could also run another horse to ensure an even pace in the Meld.
There will be no English runner in the Meld after Arassaam and Triple Dash were taken out by Michael Jarvis and Sir Mark Prescott respectively.
One Irish runner confirmed for Goodwood is Dermot Weld's Rockingham Handicap winner Timote, who will take her chance in Tuesday's King George V Stakes. No jockey has yet been booked for the filly.
Frankie Dettori enjoyed a profitable evening at Sandown when he rode a sparkling 350 to 1 four-timer.
The Italian won the opening Catwalk Claiming Stakes on Gary Moore's Barbason (5 to 1) and then an hour later he guided the Pip Payne-trained Tayif (evens) to victory in the Wetsb Panmure Stakes.
The "Showcase" handicap then fell to Dettori when he pushed out Mane Frame (11 to 2) to take the Jennifer's Diary Stakes for Hugh Morrison.
And 30 minutes later he was in the winner's circle again after driving Mithras (7 to 2) up inside the final furlong to collar Whispering and gain the day by a length in the Celeste Maiden Stakes.
Dettori was taking his tally for the season to 83.
