Knockbeg College 0-10 Naas CBS 0-7:DONIE KINGSTON secured victory for Knockbeg College in the final 10 minutes at The Heath yesterday. The Laois senior star was kept in check for long spells but still scored all bar two of his side's points as they overturned a three-point deficit with a quarter of an hour remaining.
They were only level entering injury time thanks to two great saves by Naas goalkeeper Craig Hyland, and some fine attacking play by Paul McLoughlin and Ross Doyle, but three superb points from Kingston pulled them clear.
Naas led by 0-4 to 0-1 at the interval thanks to points from McLoughlin, Ronan Joyce and Philip Cocoman.
Damien O’Connor levelled near the end of normal time and then Kingston stamped his class on proceedings.
