MANCHESTER CITY have reassured fans that Maine Road hero Georgi Kinkladze is not for sale even if Alan Ball's team are relegated.
Worried supporters have demanded assurances that the Georgian international midfielder, who arrived at Maine Road at the start of this season, will not be leaving.
Chairman Francis Lee recently slammed speculation that Kinkladze was a target for top clubs on the Continent and he stressed yesterday "We want to build for the future around `Gio' selling him is out of the question."
"When we brought him from Dynamo Tbilisi, I knew we had a world class performer and he's proved to be just that. He's a great favourite with our fans and he's not for sale at any price."
