Knockbeg College 3-10 St Joseph's 1-4:St Joseph's, Rochfortbridge, opened and closed the scoring but in between were outclassed by Carlow's Knockbeg at Dr Cullen Park. Knockbeg raced 1-4 to 0-2 in front when Ethan O'Neill goaled on 17 minutes. Two minutes later Joseph's wing forward Killian Doyle drop-kicked a superb goal.

In the 26th minute the game’s outstanding player, Knockbeg centre forward Aaron Forbes, fielded superbly to crash home a great goal as his side led by double scores at half time (2-4 to 1-2). David Tomkins goal on 41 minutes finished the game off.
