Lamanka Lass, who made light of a four-month break to lose her maiden tag at Nottingham two weeks ago, can follow up in her first handicap back at the Colwick Park track today.

The Henry Cecil-trained filly floored hot favourite Brilliant Corners by two-and-a-half lengths over the extended mile and runs over the same trip in the Halloughton Handicap.

Chomper has only won one of his 13 starts, but rarely runs a bad race as demonstrated by his third to Compton Arrow in a decent race at Ascot earlier this month.

The Mick Channon-trained youngster can add to his success at Haydock in May by taking the Gonlaston Novice Auction Stakes.

At Newcastle, Rabea can strike for Arundel trainer John Dunlop in the Pricewaterhouse Coopers Handicap.

The filly has yet to win in eight attempts, but ran her best race for a while on her latest outing when third to Snow Partridge at Brighton.
