THE Irish Amateur Swimming Association (IASA) has attracted a large entry for its Division Two Age Group Championships which take place in the Gus Healy pool in Douglas, Cork this weekend.

Association secretary Celia Millane says that the organisers will have to find time to cut down on sessions to make sure that they don't overrun. In all, 35 clubs will be represented in the overall entry of 2,034.

Competition gets under way on Friday at 4 p.m. with the finals for this session provisionally timed for 7p.m.

Three sessions are listed for 10 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday with finals after each session.
