Leinster Schools Senior Cup:Gonzaga College 20 King's Hospital 10 AN OUTSTANDING individual try by winger David Layden and a Daniel Diviney score gave Gonzaga a 12-0 lead in the first 20 minutes at Anglesea Road, but King's Hospital deservedly reduced the deficit before half-time when winger Pat McMillan crossed in the left corner.
A Ferdia Doherty penalty increased Gonzaga’s lead before a Derek Whiston try gave King’s Hospital reason to believe. Number eight David Doyle finally made the game safe for Gonzaga with a try in the closing minutes.
