Leinster MHC Quarter-finals - Wexford 2-12 Laois 1-7:A LATE double salvo from Wexford's Conor McDonald steered the Model County to an eight-point win over Laois at O'Moore Park on Saturday. The home side were in contention until the last 10 minutes as McDonald struck twice for goals. An opportunistic goal from Cha Dwyer after 20 minutes saw the home team lead at the break 1-5 to 0-5. Rhys Clarke levelled matters and although points from PJ Scully and Joe Campion saw Laois regain the lead twice it was all in vain.
