Ulster MFC First round: Antrim 0-9, Fermanagh 0-8 Two evenly matched teams had to cope with worsening underfoot conditions at Brewster Park and in the end Antrim's safer handling saw them through.
Fermanagh were three points down after Arron Thompson had scored for Antrim in the 54th minute before they put in a storming finale. It yielded points from Cathal Beacon, who converted a 30-metre free, and Daryl Keenan from a pass from substitute Chris O'Brien.
With four minutes of added-time to play both teams had plenty of opportunity to register further scores. Handling errors, however, cost Fermanagh dearly. With the last kick of the game substitute Séamus Quigley went close from way out the field but his effort went just wide.
