World Class athletes will grace Tolka Park when Ireland play their first full rugby league international on home soil.

Top British stars, including the game's most decorated player, Shaun Edwards, will top the bill when Ireland host France as part of a triangular tournament at Shelbourne FC on November 4th.

Ireland, who will be playing their sixth international since being granted full status in 1995, will complete the competition by playing Scotland at Partick Thistle a fortnight later.

A 24-man squad, mainly consisting of Super League second generation Irish stars was unveiled yesterday and includes five homegrown amateurs - four from leading club, Dublin Blues. The organisers are hoping to draw a crowd of up to 5,000.
