LEEDS UNITED manager George Graham yesterday told Tony Yeboah he wanted the 30 year old Ghananian striker to remain at Elland Road, at least until the end of next season. However the fans' favourite has been given firm guidelines on how he should conduct himself.
Yeboah has publicly declared his discontent with life at Leeds and claimed there were French and German clubs interested in him. His outburst took Graham by surprise but he was quick to deny there was a rift between himself and the player.
Said Graham: "Tony has 1 1/2 years of his current contract to run and no one would be happier than me if he sees it out. I told him this morning that if he has problems he should come and see me in my office, not go running to the papers. It is all down to frustration because he has been out for so long."
