In keeping with their commitment to junior golf, the Leinster Branch of the GUI have recently appointed three additional provincial coaches as part of their intensive junior coaching programme. Andrew Gilbert (Carlow), Eddie Doyle (The Heath) and Paul Thompson (Powerscourt) will join current branch coaches Shane O'Grady (Black Bush) and Simon Byrne (Hermitage) in holding a number of coaching sessions planned for the coming months.

The new appointments will provide extensive coaching in the north, south, south east, midlands and the greater Dublin area of Leinster.
