The stamp of coaches Michael Cheika and David Knox was all over this performance as backs and forwards linked seamlessly with particular attention paid to offloading out of the tackle.

Australian centre Michael Berne was a muscular presence alongside Niall Ronan, who displayed his versatility in moving away from his natural openside position and into the centre.

Outhalf Jonathan Sexton controlled Leinster's running game with a quiet confidence. Fullback Ross McCarron was strong on the ball and in defence as Ulster were rolled over by tries from Berne (two), scrumhalf Matt D'Arcy, hooker Cian Culleton, Ronan and wing replacement Vasya Artemiev.
