Leitrim 1-7 Longford 2-4: Leitrim conceded a late goal from a penalty which denied them victory in a game where referee Gerry McCarron dismissed a player from both sides, issued five yellow cards and awarded two penalties in Carrick-on-Shannon yesterday.
Leitrim were three points ahead when McCarron awarded Longford a penalty four minutes from time. Colin Regan had been sent off moments before.
Paul Barden's conversion left Leitrim regretting missed opportunities which should have given them victory following the dismissal of David Barden, who scored a goal in the 24th minute before Emlyn Mulligan converted a penalty for the home side.
