A last minute goal from Limerick substitute, Eoin Keating, deprived Cobh Ramblers of two points they could rue as the First Division promotion race reaches its climax.

Despite taking an early lead through Pat Keane at St Colman's Park on Saturday night, Cobh had to weather a ferocious second half onslaught by Limerick who deserved their last gasp equaliser.

Cobh remain second in the table, with a two points cushion over Galway United. Galway are at home to bottom of the table St Francis in a back match tomorrow night and then entertain Cobh in what should be a promotion decider at Terryland Park on Friday.

Meanwhile, Drogheda United can all but assure their promotion with a win over Kilkenny City at United Park tonight. That would leave them needing just one point from their remaining two games to bounce back to the Premier Division.
