Gaelic Games/McGrath Cup/Limerick 2-3 Cork 0-7: Limerick qualified to meet IT Tralee in the McGrath Cup semi-final in a near blizzard under lights at Newtownshandrum last night.

Two goals approaching half-time tipped the game in Limerick's favour. The first came from Conor Mullane after 24 minutes when a pass by Cork goalkeeper Kevin O'Dwyer was intercepted.

Two minutes later Micheál Reidy landed a penalty to help Limerick to a 2-3 to 0-2 lead at the break. Cork dominated the second half and James Masters' free-taking reduced the margin before time ran out on them.
