NFL DIVISION THREE Limerick 2-12 Wexford 0-14:SEÁNIE BUCKLEY'S goal highlighted Limerick's best display of the campaign but it was not sufficient for them to avoid dropping back down to Division Four.
A four-point defeat was a bitter blow for Wexford who played for 45 minutes without Dáithí Waters who was shown a second yellow card when involved in a tussle with John Galvin after 25 minutes.
Limerick led 1-3 to 0-4 at that stage – the goal being cracked low to the net from a penalty by Ger Collins. Limericks second goal after 32 minutes was an outstanding individual effort from Buckley who breezed past several defenders before firing home.
