RACING: Limestone Lad goes in search of career win number 31 at Navan tomorrow but his trainer is already looking ahead to Naas next week.

Limestone Lad is unbeaten in nine handicap hurdle starts and Michael Bowe is keen to keep the record intact in the Brown Lad Handicap in seven days' time.

"The race at Navan should put him spot on and I would like to have him straight for Naas. Ten out of ten would have to be some sort of record," said Bowe, the son of permit holder, James Bowe.

Nevertheless, none of Limestone Lad's six opponents in tomorrow's Philips Electronics Lismullen Hurdle will be expecting anything but the usual dour struggle from the popular star.

Last year, Liss A Paoraigh upset Limestone Lad by a length and a half in this race, under a masterful ride from Charlie Swan. The mare is 3lb worse off this time but Bowe is not particularly confident about reversing the placings.

The main supporting race is the McCabe Fortria Chase which gives Its Time For A Win the chance to run in his favourite left-handed direction.

How good the Mullins horse is going left-handed was made clear when he put in a sure footed display to win the Topham at Aintree from Monty's Pass last April. This will be his first run since but reportedly Its Time For A Win is in good shape.

Glenhaven Nugget will try to extend his winning sequence in the Grade Three For Auction Novice Hurdle while the Sun Alliance runner-up Over The Bar has a first start over fences in the Beginners Chase.

Horse Racing Ireland has announced an additional fixture for Wexford on Sunday, November 17th.
