Llanelli v Perpignan Stradey Park, 7.05 Eurosport: Llanelli will protect a remarkable club record when they tackle Perpignan in this evening's Heineken Cup quarter-final clash at Stradey Park.
The Scarlets are chasing a third semi-final appearance in four seasons, and history is on their side.
Thirteen French sides have tried - and failed - to lower Llanelli colours on home soil, which underlines the magnitude of Perpignan's task.
Those victories, achieved in tournament games and friendlies, confirm what a fortress Stradey Park has become. It will be packed to capacity this evening, and Scarlets' coach Gareth Jenkins is relishing what should be a classic European occasion.
"There is no doubt that this is a massive game for this club," Jenkins said. "The Heineken Cup is a special tournament - it is becoming a big part of Llanelli rugby club, and we are proud to be representing Wales in Europe.
"Perhaps we go in as favourites, but that's only because we have home advantage. We have done our homework on Perpignan, and they are obviously a very capable side with good performances already under their belts this season.
"But, hopefully, we will be able to give the capacity crowd at Stradey Park something to shout about." Llanelli have received a boost with international hooker Robin McBryde making his first appearance since early January.
McBryde had a toe operation which ruled him out of Wales' entire Six Nations campaign, but has been passed fit to reclaim the Scarlets' number two jersey.
Full-back Barry Davies is the only uncapped player in a Llanelli starting line-up skippered by centre Leigh Davies.
Wing Garan Evans is preferred to Mark Jones, while prop Martyn Madden and number eight Scott Quinnell have both recovered from injuries suffered during last weekend's Principality Cup victory against Neath.
Perpignan reached the last eight as Pool Two winners, beating Munster and Gloucester, but three of their four group successes were achieved at home.
On the road, they were not as convincing, which suggests Llanelli should secure another semi-final opportunity.
