Wales v Romania: Gareth Llewellyn, the 35-year-old who made his international debut against Wayne Shelford's 1989 All Blacks, has a chance tonight to secure his place in the Wales side that faces New Zealand next week. 1
The veteran returns to Wales's second row for the meeting with Romania at the Millennium Stadium, his 91st cap, when he partners the 21-year-old debutant Luke Charteris.
Llewellyn, now playing club rugby in Narbonne, said: "I'm not thinking about 100 caps, because nine more caps is probably two seasons away, and that's a hell of a long time. I can only think about the next game. I am here because I want to play international rugby until the end of the season. I've told Mike (Ruddock) the way I am feeling, and the way my body is, I know I can go until the end of the season."
Romania, who have lost five successive games against Wales, field nine France-based players, including Biarritz prop Petru Balan.
